About Our Firm

MICHAEL G. BYERS, ESQ., is the founder, principal and owner of The Byers Law Firm and The Byers Group. He previously served as Vice President-Administration and General Counsel of Crounse Corporation and Assistant General Counsel at Ingram Barge Company. Prior to his employment with Crounse and Ingram Barge Company, Mr. Byers was Counsel with the law firm of Bass, Berry & Sims in Nashville, TN. He is licensed in Kentucky and Tennessee, and is published, a spokesperson and a panel member.

Mr. Byers received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and MBA from Murray State University in 1989 and 1995 respectively, and his law degree from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis in 2001. He worked his way through college and law school as a manager/owner of his family’s manufacturing and retail businesses. His relationships with legal experts in multiple fields provides his clients with access to excellent representation in multiple areas of law.
